For students that are 16 and over we are able to offer work experience in different areas of the hospital. Please note that places are not strictly restricted to students or young people. We welcome participants of all ages, including those considering a change of career and the long term-unemployed.
These placements will vary in length depending on the area and availability of staff and will be more focused on the student’s area of interest.

Allocation of Placements
The criteria for work placements vary depending on the department and although we will do our utmost to meet your needs but this might not always be possible. In the event of a major incident/outbreak it may be necessary to postpone/cancel placements sometimes at short notice.
