Work Experience 2016

August 31, 2016 | By |

Since September 2015, RCHT has accommodated 106 students of all ages and abilities across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical departments. Done well, work experience programmes will draw in our future nurses, doctors, managers, healthcare scientists and make young people aware of the huge range of opportunities in roles within the NHS.
This summer Get In Cornwall facilitated hundreds of Work Experience Placements for students from all over the county. Here’s what some of them had to say:

“Thank you for providing me with a great Work Experience Placement. I really enjoyed it and it provided me with a lot of insight into careers in the NHS.”

“My placement on the Trauma Ward at RCHT showed me what a working environment is really like as I had the opportunity to communicate with nurses and patients. Thank you for this great experience.”

First Aid with our Paramedic!

“During my work experience placement I gained valuable knowledge that I’m sure will support me in my future career.”
